We offer several opportunities each year for our students of all levels to perform at music venues in the local community.

Private Lessons

Singing doesn’t have to be scary.

We understand how nerve-wracking it can be to take that first lesson or to return to singing after a hiatus. Because of this, we make sure to create a safe, comfortable, nurturing and inviting atmosphere for our singers to break down barriers, build confidence, learn contemporary vocal technique, explore their own sound, meet like-minded people, perform and have fun.

Whether you’re in a band, or just looking to explore singing someplace other than your shower, we will help you gain control, increase stamina, build confidence, and find your own voice. We understand that each singer singer has different goals, tastes and learning styles, so our thorough and cohesive curriculum is also flexible and customizable.

The first step to great singing is great technique.

Gain control, increase stamina, build confidence, and find your own voice with:

  • Proper posture and breath support
  • Vowels, placement & resonance
  • Range and registers
  • Pitch and key
  • Volume control
  • Rhythm and phrasing
  • Vibrato and other vocal ornaments
  • Harmonies
  • Warm up and practice techniques
  • Vocal health, maintenance and tension release
  • Explore your own sound
  • Authenticity and emotion

Singing is more than just vocal skill.

  • Break down mental barriers and access your unique abilities
  • Discover what is holding you back and help you free yourself from it
  • Explore how preconceptions (yours or others) affect your singing
  • Build a stronger connection with your music
  • Build a stronger connection with your audience
  • Have permission to sing out loud, despite your fears

We’ll get you ready to take the stage.

  • Conquer stage fright
  • Deliver an emotional and engaging performance
  • Learn improvisation skills
  • Master microphone control
  • Select arrange and memorize songs
  • Build repertoire
  • Find accompaniment

Student Shows

An Evening of Singers

An Evening of Singers

This semi-annual show is a great way for students to try out singing in public for the first time, gain more live-performance experience, practice performance skills, conquer stage fright, build their repertoire and their resume in a warm, safe, and encouraging atmosphere. All levels are welcome.

Singers' Night Out

Singers' Night Out

This semi-annual show is tailored to the more advanced student. We book a well-known local music venue and 4 performers get a half-hour set each. This is a great stepping stone for a student looking to become a performing musician. This show is a chance to build up your chops, as well as gain important skills such as self-promotion, song selection, song arrangement, and finding accompaniment. Plus, you get paid!

Student karaoke night, open mic field trips, studio parties and more

Student karaoke night, open mic field trips, studio parties and more

We encourage and help our students to network with each other, other local professional and amateur musicians, and music venues. We also encourage our students to get out and perform for fun — no matter what level they’re at. Our community is very important to us, so you’ll often find us joining our students at area open mics, throwing singing parties at the studio, and even organizing group trips to karaoke night!

Performance Preparation

Performance Preparation

We know that the idea of performing in public can seem very scary. That's why we book our shows months in advance, and walk our performers through a cohesive and systematic plan to ensure preparedness, as well as a confidence-building performance.
